Mathematics can be both invented and discovered. While some mathematical concepts like patterns in nature are discovered, mathematics is also invented when humans develop numerical formulas and symbols to explain phenomena. Mathematics describes logical relationships found in the real world, but the way we represent and study these relationships through invented systems also involves human creation. Ultimately, mathematics has a dual nature involving both discovery of underlying logical truths, and invention of analytical tools and frameworks.

1. What is mathematics all about?
Mathematics, after watching the video was about the logical and numerical of explaining everything about the
earth and the whole universe.
2. Where can patterns be observed in nature?
Patterns can be observes in different things around us. As per the video presented, spiral patterns exist in snail
shells, pine cones and even the shapes of the galaxies in our universe. Fibonacci sequences can be observes in
the number of petals of different flowers and spiral quantities of cones. The usual pattern that exist in our daily
life was the time and season due to earth's rotation and revolution and the constellation in the night sky.
3. What is the role of mathematics in our world?
The role of mathematics in the our world is the explain the reality of what we are living off. Through
mathematical principles, it can quantifies different aspects that can used as the model and techniques in
application to our daily experiences and life. Mathematics also been the part of the human world as it exist in
various mode such as the nature, living, and even in our body itself as we recognizes the different patterns,
shapes, color etc which are solely under the mathematical concepts.
4. Who uses mathematics?
Everyone uses mathematics even the plants, animals and the human itself. Being unconscious of people that
mathematics mostly about formulas and numerical figures, we forgot that we utilize mathematics through
simply counting time in minutes or hours, budgeting our money and even in thinking since mathematics is also
inclined in logical reasoning. As for other living things, they exhibit instinct that mostly rely on numerical figures
as what exemplified on the video.
5. Why mathematics is important to know?
It is important to know mathematics for us to deeply understand the underlying mystery of our existence from
the simple daily living to the more complex ideas around us. The utilization and usage of mathematics can be
useful to the human in discovering things that can made our life easier and made us comprehend the existing
phenomenon we are experiencing.

Mathematics can be either invented or discover. Based on the facts presented on the video, mathematics exhibit dual
nature, being natural/logical and numerical. Mathematics as natural or logical which are present in the patterns and
thinking of the natural things in our universe are discovered by humans. In the other side, being numerical of
mathematics can be invented because of the continuous formulation of explanation the phenomenon that are
expounded through the application of different formulas, numbers and symbols.
