ARTICLE 101:

1. MINIMUM WAGE OF WORKERS PAID BY RESULT:


- all workers paid by result shall received not less than
applicable minimum wage rates under the Regiona
Wage Orders for normal working hours which shall not
exceed 8 hours a day, or proportion thereof for work
less than normal working hours.

2. ADJUSTED MINIMUM WAGE RATES:


a. amount increase in AMW (PREVIOUS AMW X 100=%
increase)
b. Existing rate/piece _ increase in rate = Adjusted rate
c. existing rate + increase in rate = adjusted rate/price.

3. NATURE: they are also called as Non-time workers


because they according to the quantity and quality or
kind of job and consequent results thereof.

Distinguish characteristic – non-consideration of time


spent in working. Once the work is completed, the
worker received a fixed amount as wage, without
regard to the standard measurement of time generally
used in pay computation. This commonly shows for
paykaw or task basis engagement.

4. EFFECT ON EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP:


engagement on pakyaw or task basis does not
determine the partie’s relationship as it is simply a
method of pay computation.

5. MODE OF DETERMINING COMPENSATION:


A. time and motion study (this is more scientific and
preferred method) or

B. as may be fixed through consultation with worker’s


and employer’s organization in a tripartite cased DOLE
Secretary.
