Topics for Reporting:

1) There will be one topic assigned to each group to be raffled during class.
2) There will be written and oral reporting. The written report should not be less than 10
pages, double space on a legal size bond paper. Soft copy of your written work should
be provided in a usb to be submitted with all the group reports of the whole class on
_________.
3) Your schedule for group reporting will be announced and one group per one hour is
allotted so make sure that you present on your assigned dates.
4) Written reports should be extensive including provisions of the CPR and decided cases of
the Supreme Court; but oral reports may be in a summarized form and may be in the
form of video/film showing, game show, talk show, mini-skit. The important thing is you
are able to present your topic substantially in class. Be resourceful and imaginative on
how your oral reports will be presented.
5) Your written reports should be furnished to the whole class as the final exams may be
based on some of the topics assigned as well as my lectures.
6) This Report will be in lieu of your Mid Term exams, it will be based on a group grade.

In Rule 2.03, A lawyer shall not do or permit to be done any act designed primarily to
solicit legal business.
Are lawyers appearing in tv shows, having regular radio programs, or columns in a
newspaper actually ADVERTISE their services which is violative of Rule 2.03? What is
not permissible advertising and what are the kinds of advertising allowed? Discuss
extensively.

Computation of Grades

Mid-Term Grade: 30 % Attendance, quizzes and written papers, assignments


and recitation
70 % Mid-Term Paper/Reports

Final Grade: 50 % Mid-Term Grade


50 % -Final Exams
