LOCATION: Malita, Davao Occidental DURATION: August 2018 PROJECT COST: Php 15,000.00 SOURCE OF FUNDS: GAD
Rationale:
Gender equity has become one of the essential indicators of achieving sustainable economic growth and effective and accountable governance. The inclusion of gender consideration in micro- economic pursuits is seen as the key to ensuring the gender issues are systematically addresses in all government undertakings.
Decreasing gender disparities to achieve better enhancement in political, economic and
social condition of the locality, thus; there is a need to promote and improve the women and facilitate their participation in development and currently resolved issues of gender equity as fundamental human rights and gender justice.
II. OBJECTIVES: The program generally aims to promote the equality of women in nation building and improve their quality of life by introducing programs to increase the health and nutritional status of women in order to become more productive and to have seminar workshop and training course on promoting the role of women in development.
IV. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:
Meal allowance for 2 days @ 300.00 x 25 heads =Php 15,000.00

VI .METHODOLOOGY:
The implementation, integration and coordination of this program shall be undertaken by the Punong Barangay and all disbursements of funds shall follow the prescribed accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
