- to check if they remember previously taught materials.

Time: 8 minutes
Procedure: T invites Ss to play a game. Each S will come in front of the class and
will read a riddle about and animal. The other Ss listen carefully and try to guess
what animal is the riddle about. T monitors then announces the objectives of the
lesson, writes the title of the lesson on the blackboard.
Activity 1
Time: 7 minutes
Procedure: T draws a table with two columns on the whiteboard and writes the
singular form of some nouns. Ss take turns and come to the whiteboard and
write the plurals. T checks the answers with the class.
Activity 2
Time: 8 minutes

Procedure: T organizes pair work. Each pair receives a handout. T reads the
instructions for each exercise. After each exercise is solved T checks the
answers with the whole class. The group with the most correct answers
receives the most points and so on. T monitors the activity and helps if
necessary.
