KOCHKLEEN® ADDITIVE Z MEMBRANE CLEANER

Liquid, Nonionic Surfactant for Removal of Cathodic Paint

DESCRIPTION KOCHKLEEN ADDITIVE Z membrane cleaner is a specially formulated, concentrated


nonionic surfactant used with other ingredients to remove cathodic paint.

COMPATIBLE Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes.

APPLICATIONS KOCHKLEEN ADDITIVE Z membrane cleaner is commonly used in electrocoat (E-Coat) paint
in–process applications.

KOCHKLEEN® ADDITIVE Z MEMBRANE CLEANER

USE • For typical cleaning-in-place (CIP) of cathodic paint membranes, use 0.5% (v/v)
INSTRUCTIONS KOCHKLEEN ADDITIVE Z membrane cleaner at a cleaning temperature greater than
105 °F (40 °C).
Note: Adjust the pH of the cleaning bath accordingly (to match the pH of the paint) by
using acidic and/or alkaline KOCHKLEEN membrane cleaners.
• Circulate as required and recommended by KMS.
• Always consult the membrane manufacturer for specific procedures.
