20TH GRADUATION CEREMONY OF MNHS-UPPER

Graduation day is the day of rejoicing, for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and
the commencement of another ,more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s quest for a better
life and future. Truly signifies the culmination of many years of hard work, is the relentless pursuit
of knowledge; knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities , and take on
challenges with clear vision and purpose. Friends, welcome to the 20TH graduation ceremony of
MAHAPALAG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL –UPPER.

Everybody is requested to stand for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. And
please do remain standing for the singing of the deped leyte hymn.

III. SALUTATION
At this moment, may I call on Ms.Linlin Galvez, a Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences
Student for her words of welcome?

IV. PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES FOR GRADUATION


And now, the main highlight of today’s affair, is about to unfold in our midst. ------------- To
do the honor of presenting this years candidates for graduation, we have the Mahaplag National
High School-upper School Head Dr. Yvonne C. Salas------------and to do the honor of accepting
and confirming the graduating class, we have the MAHAPLAG CENTRAL SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
II, MAM LEAH R. SOLIS.
VI. AWARDING OF DIPLOMA
A Certificate of graduation, is the tangible evidence of being a graduate in a certain level of
education………. This is now the fruit of your endeavor. So, to do the honors of the distribution of
certificates for graduation, we have MAM LEAH SOLIS To be assisted by Dr. Yvonne C. Salas.
To start with, we have the GENERAL ACADEMIC STRAND ADVISER. MR. HENRY LUMEN.

VII. INTRODUCTION OF THE GUEST SPEAKER


Todays affair is being grace by a special person, who will in a minute, deliver his words of
wisdom. May I call on DR. NOEL AYOC, to do the honor in introducing our Commencement
Speaker.
VIII. COMMENCEMENT ADDRESS (MESSAGE)
Thank you so much for that very inspiring and heart touching message of
yours.

To award the PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION to our Commencement Speaker, we have Dr. Yvonne
Salas. Let me read the citation first.

IX. AWARDING OF MEDALS, MERIT RIBBONS AND CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION


Let us now come to the Awarding of Medals and Certificates of Recognition, to deserving
graduates who excel academically.
To do the honor of giving the medals and certificates of recognition, I would like to request
MAM. SOLIS once again,together with our school head Dr Salas, … To read the honories and
awardees. We have Engineer Rhea Lora.

(CONGRATULATIONS to the honor Graduates and Special Awardees. I bet your parents are
indeed so proud of your achievements.
X. VALEDICTORY ADDRESS
To express the sentiments of batch 2018-2019, may call on Ms. SHAYNEHAYES
AMARILLE, an academic excellence awardee.

XIII. GRADUATION SONG


Music is the expression of the soul. It moves emotions …and feels the movement of time.
Through a song that emphasizes the strength amidst challenges.
Ladies and gentlemen, let us hear the graduation song of the class -2018-2019 graduates.

XIV. RECESSIONAL
The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities awaits
our graduates, that will further test their mettle or courage as improving individuals. As they
continue with their journey, may they look back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride.
