I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson students are expected to;
a. create your own design of flower paper plate weave
b. Value the importance of weaving in producing indigenous crafts

The learner demonstrate understanding of the salient features of the arts of Luzon (highlands and lowlands) by
showing the relationship of the elements of art and processes among culturally diverse communities in the
country

The learner create artworks showing the characteristic elements of the arts of Luzon (highlands and lowlands)

Do the activity by Following the given procedures:
1. Cut the sides of the plate, shape each to form petals.
2. Color the plate using poster plate
3. Tie the first yarn around the plate so that it will not move as you start weaving.
4. Tie the yarn all over the petal as the base for the weaving.
5. Start weaving from the center using the over-under technique.
6. Make another petal paper plate and place underneath the first petal with a yarn weave. Use glue to
attach the two.
