MEMORANDUM

FOR : PD, Laguna PPO

SUBJECT : Spot Report re- Stabbing Incident at Lopez Jaena St., Pila,
Laguna

DATE : September 28, 2017

1. This pertains to the stabbing incident that transpired OOA 10:00 AM of


September 28, 2017 at #24 Lopez Jaena St., Pila, Laguna wherein the victim was
identified as Jimmy Barcelona y Reyes , 42 years old, married, security guard and a
resident of #24 Lopez Jaena St., Pila, Laguna was stabbed by Brandy Alfonso y dela
Torre, @Petot,, 27 years old, married, jobless, native of Tuguegarao Cagayan and
presently residing at Rizal St., Pila, Laguna.

2. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim together with his
daughter identified as Vicky Barcelona while entering on their residential gate when the
suspect stabbed the victim twice hitting on the back portion of his body. The victim fell
down on the floor while the suspect immediately fled after the incident with the weapon
used. The victim’s daughter who witnessed the incident cried and sought for helped to
rushed the victim on the hospital. The victim’s wife named Katrina Barcelona, 40 years
old, who happened to open the gate immediately called for police assistance. The victim
sustained two (2) stab wounds on the upper back portion of the body and was rushed to
Laguna Provincial Hospital for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival
(DOA) by the attending physician thereat. The cadaver of the victim was brought to
PNP Crime Laboratory Office PRO 4A for autopsy examination.

3. The suspect was arrested during follow-up operation conducted by the


responding police officers positively identified by the victim’s daughter but the weapon
used was not recovered and now under the custody of this Office for investigation and
proper disposition.

4. The motive of the incident is undetermined and the case is still under
investigation.
