permission or have a legal right to be able
to operate
• Adam & Eve gave him that initial right
• The only true authority that exists is God’s
and what He has given to us as His sons
• We can give that authority to the enemy
• To remove the enemy from our gates we
need to remove any legal rights
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Legal right is a judicial or court term
we need to use the legal system to
deal with rights of familiar spirits
• Prayer or ministry should be seen as a
legal process not warfare

the judge for justice in relation to
prayer

him. 2 The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD
rebuke you, Satan!.. 3 Now Joshua was
clothed with filthy garments and standing
before the angel. 4 He spoke and said to
those who were standing before him, saying,
“Remove the filthy garments from him.”
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Zech 3:4 .. Again he said to him, “See, I
have taken your iniquity away from you
and will clothe you with festal robes.” 5

on his head.” So they put a clean turban
on his head and clothed him with
garments, while the angel of the Lord
was standing by.
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Zech 3:6 And the angel of the LORD

says the LORD of hosts, ‘If you will walk
in My ways and if you will perform My
laws, then you will also govern My
house and also have charge of My
courts, and I will grant you free access
among these who are standing here.
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Hebrews 12:22-24 "You have come to Mount
Zion, to the city of the living God (the
heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in
festive gathering, to the assembly of the
firstborn whose names have been written in
heaven, to God who is the Judge of all, to the
spirits of righteous people made perfect, to
Jesus (mediator of a new covenant), and to
the sprinkled blood, which says better things
than the blood of Abel.
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• God is calling us to go to the Heavenly
Mount Zion to learn how to engage with
and become part of the Courts of
Heaven and His Government.
• Mountains are governmental realms
where we can come to release
legislation into the earth and to annul
the contracts of the enemy made
against us.
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Isaiah 2:3 “Come, and let us go up to the
mountain of the Lord, to the house of

Jerusalem.”

what He does
• He Himself has a throne where He rules
and that rule is based on Righteousness
and Justice

is administered

in and through us in the created order

ultimately ended prematurely.
• Nations that were supposed to prosper have
struggled with poverty

power of the early apostolic era
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Anything that is living short of what
God’s will is for us is an injustice and
therefore not right in Gods eyes
• We have all been robbed in many
areas
• But the books in heaven are being
opened and God is passing verdicts in
favour of His children
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Zech 3:6-7 God’s Angel then charged Joshua,
“Orders from God-of-the-Angel-Armies: ‘If
you live the way I tell you and remain
obedient in my service, then you’ll make the
decisions around here and oversee my affairs.
And all my attendants standing here will be at
your service.
• The courtroom is rigged in our favour because
the Judge is our father and Jesus is our
advocate and the word of God is our witness
or bill of rights.
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• We can all access or convene the
court, regardless of how sinful or
unclean we feel and what filthy rags
we think we are wearing

to us a promise in Christ.
• We can rule and reign and be part of
God’s justice system

the enemies authority
• We can use the court system to give us
legal authority to bring the kingdom from
heaven to earth
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Job 1:6-8 “ One day when the angels came
to report to God, satan who was his
designated accuser came along with him,
God singled out satan and said, ‘what
have you been up to? Satan answered
God, checking things out on the earth. (or
going to and fro and up and down)
• Our enemies are looking for opportunities
by observing what we do, say and think
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Satan comes to the heavenly court as the
accuser and you are the one being accused

• An accuser is someone who has a case
against you or has some accusations to
present against an individual, family, city or a
nation

permission to curse Job and he still does
Engaging God – Court of Accusation

permission?

Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Job 1:5 .. Job would send and consecrate
them, rising up early in the morning and
offering burnt offerings according to the
number of them all; for Job said, “Perhaps

their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.

rather than trust God with their
protection
Engaging God – Court of Accusation

Satan has asked excessively that [all of]
you be given up to him [out of the power
and keeping of God], that he might sift [all
of] you like grain, 32 But I have prayed
especially for you [Peter], that your [own]
faith may not fail; and when you yourself
have turned again, strengthen and
establish your brethren.
Engaging God – Court of Accusation

times if he could destroy the disciples.

abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving
iniquity and transgression; but He will by
no means clear the guilty, visiting the
iniquity of the fathers on the children to
the third and the fourth generations.’
• Why would people be guilty?
• Because they have not confessed their sin
and repented of it
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Iniquity is a bent or bias towards sin
• Iniquity can be passed spiritually through
familiar spirits or within the epigenetic
memories in our heart or in our actual
genetic material
• Each generation that continues with the
sin or behaviour perpetuates the issue
• Familiar spirits can therefore become
familial spirits
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Rev 12:10 … the salvation and the
power and the kingdom (the dominion,
the reign) of our God, and the power

before our God charges against them
day and night, has been cast out

describe someone who has received
some legal training which allows him
or her to represent another in a
courtroom.”

• Jesus is legally trained and he knows how
to represent you in the court
• So if you fall short and sin Jesus can
represent you in the court and your
forgiveness is guaranteed because He
already took the punishment
• The whole court system is rigged on our
behalf based on the cross and the blood
of Jesus that is an eternal heavenly record
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Col 2:13 When you were dead in your
transgressions and the uncircumcision of your
flesh, He made you alive together with Him,
having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14
having cancelled out the certificate of debt
consisting of decrees against us, which was
hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the
way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 When He
had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He
made a public display of them, having
triumphed over them through Him.

your own case self-righteously
Engaging God – Court of Accusation

the court?
• We need to learn how make and present
our cases in the court
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• True authority comes from the legal
system of God’s kingdom - verdict
• It’s like a policeman standing in the road
with his hand up, he doesn’t have much
power in himself but he does have the
whole backing of the law behind him
• Therefore because the whole law is
behind him you probably will stop when
he simply lifts his hand.

learnt about fixing our eyes and focusing
our attention
• Using our imagination as a doorway into
the experience
• Listening to the proceedings as thoughts
in our mind
Engaging God – Court of Accusation
• Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated
• We need to believe and act on the basis
that it’s real because it is and then our
physical senses will catch up
• So when you go in to court (by faith) you
need to have an attitude of honour.
• It’s not a formula but there are some
simple protocols

against any familiars that are either
blocking outside our spirit gates or in our
soul gates

door and knock; if anyone hears
My voice and opens the door, I
