“The Most Disturbing Dinner,”is a Lucky Me video commercial of a family with a parents who
discipline their child and a child pushing away his self as he receives criticisms from his parents.
Based on research three out of four Filipino Teenagers would rather not have meals with their
family. A case which is curiously alarming, considering that dinner is one of the chance that a
family can get bond together. Refusing a meal with their parents is symbolism of a conflict
between them, which must be solved before it gets worst.
When I watched the commercial of Lucky Me entitled “The Most Disturbing Dinner” it
emphasize many of Filipino teenager lost their appetite because they come late in their house.
Then they worried/worry about them so if they come late at exact time n dinner or even not on
dinner, they are usually overtaken with their emotion and they are not aware of the damage that
they are doing until it is too late.
Lucky Me “the most disturbing dinner” commercial, it is a good idea to the parents who
have not lean time to their children because of too much work and also to the teenager that not
have been time because of school work and activities in school. I think this commercial aims to
make a time from each other in the family for reconnection and gives a realization to the parents
that are busy in work, and I can say to the parents who experience this is “there is nothing wrong
to discipline their children but there is a good way to discipline their children”.
