orally; and parallel structure and cohesive devices in presenting
information

informative speech based on a specific topic of interest keeping
in mind the proper and effective use of parallel structures and
cohesive devices and appropriate prosodic features, stance, and
behavior.

A. Reviewing previous Examine students about their previous lesson and then

F. (Application) Finding Collaborative:
practical applications The class will be group into five groups. Each group will be
of concepts and skills given a sentence. First, they will tell identify what phrase is
in daily living used. Next, they will determine whether the sentence is
parallel or not After that will explain their answer.
1. Read books, playing the piano, and going to the theatre
are Mie’s favorite activities.
Expected answer: Read books, playing the piano,and going
to the theatre are Mie’s favorite activities.
2. Melissa hoped to graduate, finding a job and buy a car.
Expected answer: Melissa hoped to graduate, to find a job

3. Breaking out the prison compound, the escapees
moved carefully, quietly, and were quick on their
feet.
4. I have read the book, but I have not watched the
movie version.
