Persephone B Block

Persephone is kidnapped by Hades and taken to the underworld, causing her mother Demeter to search for her. While in the underworld, Persephone eats pomegranate seeds which forces her to split her time between the underworld as Hades' wife and the world above with her mother. This explains the seasons as Persephone brings spring when she is above and winter during her time in the underworld with Hades.
