i. Please fill all the details about Nationality, Passport Number, Visa No., Visa Validity, and
Mobile Number in Step 1.
ii. Please upload your scanned Passport in Step 6.
Q 3. How can one access the Anti-Ragging Affidavit?
Ans 3. Anti Ragging Affidavit : Applicant can download Anti Ragging Affidavit for both the applicant and
the parents from the college website for both Old Student and New Applicants from the following link:

Upload both the attested affidavit in .jpg or .pdf format.

Ans 4. For seeking Admission in B.Com-I, BBA-I, BCA-I,B.Sc-I (Non-Medical),B.Sc-I (Medical), B.Sc (Hons)

Q 5. What should students seeking admission through the UT Pool do?
Ans 5. UT Pool : Applicant must submit the proof of 10+2 from schools situated in Chandigarh.
Q 6. Who would be eligible for the General Pool?
Ans 6. General Pool: Candidates who have not studied 10+2 at Chandigarh are eligible for general
pool.
Q 7. What should be the mode of payment (online filling e-form)?
Ans 7. For making payment: There are two modes of payment:
a) Online/Debit/Credit Card
b) Scratch Card: There are different types of Scratch Cards i.e. (For College only, For Hostel only, for
both Hostel and College). The scratch cards are also available for New Applicant and Old Students.
Kindly clarify at the college counter.
Q 8. When will the merit list be available on the website?
Ans 8. Merit List: Merit list will be available at college Website in the 1st week of July 2018.
Q 9. When can Honours students choose Honours subject?
Ans 9. For Honours Subject: In the old system, a student can choose Honours subject in 3 rd Semester.
(After declaration of 2nd Semester result). In case, the Panjab University enforces CBCS, the honours
subject can be opted from 1st semester onwards.
Q 10. Where should an applicant go for counseling at the time of Admission?
Ans 10. For counseling, an applicant can go to College Digital library personally.
Q 11. What is the procedure for seeking admission in the 3rd semester
(existing student) ?
Ans 11. For seeking Admission in 3rd Semester:
For existing student kindly click on Existing Students 2nd & 3rd Year on College Website.
For Uploading document student can upload latest result either of 1st Sem or of 2nd Sem (whichever is
later).
 Q 12. What is the procedure for seeking admission in the 5th semester (existing student)?
Ans 12. For seeking Admission in 5th Semester:
For existing student kindly click on Existing Students 2nd & 3rd Year on College Website.
For Uploading document student can upload latest result either of 3rd Sem or of 4th Sem (whichever is later).

Q 13. What is the procedure for seeking admission in the 3rd semester As NEW APPLICANT (NON Existing
College Student)?
Ans 13. For seeking Admission in 3rd Semester:
i) Kindly fill form as New Applicant on College Website www.ggdsd.ac.in
ii) For Uploading 2nd Semester Result, Applicant can upload Examination Admit Card if 2nd Semester Result is not
declared. (Update immediately after declaration of result)

Q 14. What is the procedure for seeking admission in the /5th semester As NEW APPLICANT (NON Existing College
Student)?
Ans 14. For seeking Admission in 5th Semester:
i) Kindly fill form as New Applicant on College Website www.ggdsd.ac.in
ii) For Uploading 5th Semester Result, Applicant can upload Examination Admit Card if 4th
Semester Result is not declared. (Update immediately after declaration of result)
Q 15. What is the procedure for seeking admission in the 1st semester (PG/Diploma Course)?
Ans 15: Kindly fill form as New Applicant on College Website www.ggdsd.ac.in
For Uploading Last Semester Result, Applicant can upload Examination Admit Card if Last Semester Result
is not declared. (Update immediately after declaration of result)
Q 16. What is Centralized Admission Process?
Ans 16. Admission through DHE, Chandigarh for some courses are called Centralized Admission Process.
Course Like B.Com-I,BBA-I,BCA-I,B.Sc-I (Non-Medical),B.Sc-I (Medical), B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology-I,B.Sc
(Hons) Bioinformatics-I, M.Com-I needs to go through this process. And they required to choose “Yes” and
enter their Registration/Form No.
