COC 1 – INSTALLATION OF COMPUTER SYSTEM AND UNIT

Part 1 – Hardware Installation


NOTE: kaya may optional, depende sa sasabihin ng assessor kung tatanggalin pa o hindi na

Disassemble
 Remove Data Cables and Power Supply Cable
 Remove Power Supply
 Remove Hard Disk
 Remove Optical Drive (CD/DVD ROM)
 Remove Motherboard (Optional)
 Remove RAM (optional)
 Remove Cooling Fan (Optional)
 Remove Processor (Optional)
 Tagging – Pagpapangalan at inventory ng Computer Parts (optional)
Assemble
 Assemble motherboard – RAM, Processor, Cooling Fan (optional)
 Ilagay ang Hard Disk, Optical Drive
 Ilagay ang Power Supply
 Iconnect ang power cables at data cabe (IDE – Integrated Data Electronics/SATA –
Serial Advance Technology Attachment)

Part 2 – Software Installation

Preparation
 Create a bootable Flash Drive using Rufus or PowerISO
 Copying Installers to Flash Drive (MS Office 2010, Avast Anti-Virus)
Installation of OS
 Papasok muna sa BIOS (Basic Input Output System) Para ma-set ang boot priority
 Press F10 to Save, Select Confirm or Yes
 Press and Letters As Soon As Nag Restart na yung Computer
 Select Language (English/Russian)
 Select Language ulit, Next nalang
 Select Operating System Version, ang piliin ay Window 7 – Ultimate x86
 Accept nyo lang yung EULA
 Select Custom Configuration
 Delete all Partition
 Gumawa ng partition according kay Assessor (1 gb = 1024mb)
 Piliin yung partition kung san i-install ang os, be sure naka highlight yung tamang
partition na pag iinstallan ng OS bago mag proceed
 Installaton ng O.S. kapag nag restart na yung computer tanggalin ang flash drive
 Ilagay ang computer name base sa hihingin ng assessor, kung wala ikaw na bahala
 Complete the setup
Installation of Application Software
 Install MS Office 2010
 Gumawa ng shortcut sa Desktop ng mga sumusunod na program
o MS Outlook
o MS Publisher
o MS Access
