ANCHORING SPEECH

ANCHOR 1: Khubsurat Sa Ek Pal Kissa Ban Jata Hai,


Jane Kab Kaun Zindagi Ka Hissa Ban Jata Hai,
Kuch Log Zindagi Me Milte Hain Aise,
Jinse Kabhi Na Bichadnewala Rishta Banjata Hai.
ANCHOR 2:Adar, abhinandan, abhar, namaskar, adab ,
sasriyakal, hello and a very beautiful morning ladies and
gentlemen.
A very very warm welcome to this absolutely wonderful,
beautiful and auspicious day that brings together so many
special people like you all.
ANCHOR 1: I am Shalini I am Archana student of MSc.
Nursing 2nd year and today we have the pleasure of being your
host for this day.
ANCHOR 2: now it’s time to give tribute to our motherland so
I, kindly request you all present here to stand at there respective
places for national anthem.
Thank you all kindly take your seats.
ANCHOR 1: “light the candle of love, spread the rays of
happiness in every direction in every breath.”
Now we will have our traditional auspicious LAMP-
LIGHTENING ceremony as a tribute to mother Saraswathi, the
goddess of knowledge. I request ma’am principal and teachers to
light the lamp and symbolically inaugurate this program.
ANCHOR 2: thank you ma’am and teachers
ANCHOR 1: Subha likhti hu, mai shyam likhti hu,
Manzil likhti hu mai mukam likhti hu,
Wo kalam bi divani ho jati h,
Jb mai apka naam likhti hu….
ANCHOR 2: with great honor and respect we all welcome our
principal ma’am.
As we all know that east or west, go green is the best, so I
request Mr. Mayank sir to present this plant to our principal
ma’am as a token of respect.
I request ma’am principal to say few words and allow us to
begin todays program.
ANCHOR 1: we welcome all the fresher’s students to our
college and ensure that every thing possible will be done to
equip you with the best possible resources, practical exposure
and training method so that you are able to shape up your life
and carrier for a challenging world out there.
ANCHOR 2: I heartily congratulate all of you for achieving
success in getting a seat in this reputed college of nursing.

Here D means dude representing boy freshers and another D
means diva representing girl freshers…
ANCHOR 2: oho this is it. chalo in dude and divas k liye 4
panktiya bolna chati hoo.

VOTE OF THANKS

Respected dignitaries on and off the dais and one and all present here…. I am here to propose
vote of thanks.

At the outset, I place on record my sincere gratitude to Honorable ma’am principal. who, despite
his busy schedule has found time to grace this occasion.

Profound thanks and gratitude are due to our teachers for their unstinted support rendered to us.

We are thankful to the different committees’ members who shared their views and
responsibilities and worked hard to make this program a successful one.

This is really appreciable one.

Hats off to you all….

Team work – divides the task and multiples the success.

It will be evergreen in our memory.

Finally, I thank all the young and energetic folks present here, accepting our invitation and
gracing this occasion.

Special mentioning of our DJ personal for uninterrupted technical support as well the music’s
they played to cherish us.

Now, I specially thank all the food committee members for taking pain in distributing food in a
disciplined way.

I thank one and all.

Dear freshers, there are great time ahead of you; our profession needs your service; Wishing you
