Darcy Friction Factor Calculator

This document contains calculations for head loss and friction loss in pipes using the Darcy-Weisbach equation. It provides two examples, one for a 300 m3/hr flow rate through a 203.1 mm diameter pipe and another for a 3000 m3/hr flow rate through a 500 mm diameter pipe. For each example, it lists the given input data, calculates values like average velocity and Reynolds number, and determines the head loss contributions from the pipe itself and from fittings, valves, and other components. The total head loss is reported for each pipe system.
