B. compute the specific volume.
C. compute the specific gravity.

2. A gas having a volume of 50 liters has a pressure of 0.26 Mpa at 24 0C. if the gas constant R is equal to
212 M.N/kg.k, Compute
A. density of the gas
B. mass of the gas
C. weight of gas

3. A reservoir of carbon tetrachloride has a mass of 500 g and a volume of 0.315 m 3. Find the carbon
tetrachloride’s:
A. weight
B. Mass density
C. Specific Weight
D. Specific Gravity

4. A body requires a force of 100 N to accelerate is at a rate of 0.20 m/s 2. Determine the mass of the
body in kilograms and in slugs.

specific gravity.

6. If the 200 ft3 of oil weighs 10520 lb, calculate its specific weight, density, and specific gravity.

7. A vertical cylindrical tank with a diameter of 12.00 meter and depth of 4.00 meter is filled to the top
with water at 20oC. if the water is heated to 500C, how much water will spill over.
Note for specific weight of water at 500C, use 9.69 KN/m3.

8. Calculate the density of water vapor at 350 kPa absolute and 200C if its gas constant (R) is 0.462 kPa.
