ABSTRACT
In the last few years new technologies have been developed for the treatment of various diseases. The use of
nanotechnology in developing nanocarriers for cancer is bringing new hope and enthusiasm in the field of
medical science. Cancer treatments based on laser irradiation of tiny nanoparticles that are injected directly into
the cancer tumor are working and can destroy the cancer from within. Researchers have developed a method
that kills cancer cells using nanoparticles and lasers.
INTRODUCTION
A nanoparticle (or nanopowder or nanocluster or nanocrystal) is a microscopic particle with at least one
dimension less than 10nm nanoparticles are made up of macromolecular material . To develop safer and more
effective therapeutic nanoparticles researchers have designed malfunctional nanoparticle platforms for
cell/tissue specific targeting, sustained or triggered drug delivery of synergistic drug combinations.
CONCLUSION
Nanotechnology based method is the best method for the diagnosis ,drug delivery and treatments of cancer
and other diseases because of their novel properties and advantages.
