Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary
procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities may be done for
OBJECTIVES developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing
objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning
lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of quadratic equations,
quadratic inequalities and rational algebraic equations.
B. Performance Standards The learner is able to investigate thoroughly mathematical relationships in various
situations, formulate real-life problems involving quadratic equations, quadratic
inequalities and rational algebraic equations and solve them using a variety of
strategies.
C. Learning Competencies/ Illustrates the rectangular coordinate system and its uses.

List the materials to be used in different days. Varied sources of materials sustain children's interest in the lesson and in
learning. Ensure that there is a mix of concrete and manipulative materials as well as paper-based materials. Hands-on
learning promotes concept development.

or presenting the new lesson Makes Me True?

B.Establishing a purpose for Process Activity 1 by discussing the answers to the following questions.
the new lesson. a. How did you find the solution/s of each mathematical sentence?
Motivate them to learn the new
lesson. Encourage them to ask b. What mathematics concepts or principles did you apply to come up with the
questions about the new topic. This solution/s?

learning the new lessons.
Describe these mathematical sentences.
After answering the questions, the teacher will ask the students to answer Activity
2: Which Are Not Quadratic Equations?

C. Presenting examples/ After answering Activity 2, the teacher will provide examples about Quadratic
