Please consider this letter as my intent to apply for a teaching position in your established
institution. I was told by a friend that you were looking for a TLE teacher for the school
year 2019-2020. I can also teach different subjects related on my finished degree. Given my
qualifications, I believe that I am qualified to teach in your school.

I earned my degree of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education major in Crop Science


at Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College Sta. Maria Campus. I graduated with distinction on
June 1, 2018 with the general weighted average of 1.82. Luckily, I successfully passed the
September 2018 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers with the general average
of 79.60%.

Though I haven’t had a teaching experience yet, I believe that I am ready to take the
responsibilities of a teacher as I already equipped myself with skills and learnings which I
have gained through the series of lectures I attended in the different seminars and trainings
in the past.

I chose to submit my application in your institution as my colleagues told me that you


provide a very good opportunity to your teachers to hone their skills and improve
themselves by participating in various professional development workshops and trainings
in and out of the school. I believe choosing what is best can bring out the best in people like
me who want to improve continuously.

I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to have my first teaching experience in
your reputed school. I would be happy to welcome an interview and I am hoping to hear
from you at your earliest convenience. Thank you very much in advance for your kind
