The study revealed that the students have high level of anxiety relative to the three
research processes namely: initialization, execution and public presentation. Their grades in
Practical Research 2 showed that the overall performance of the students is Satisfactory but
also implies that Grade 12 students especially those from the Technical-Vocational track still
need to improve their research practices and performance which could be supported by their
anxiety does not have significant relationship to their performance in Practical Research 2 and
the anxiety manifested in terms of the research process do not differ significantly when the
respondents are grouped in terms of strand/specialization. This means that the level of
research-related anxiety among students are quite similar regardless of their different
specializations and is not directly linked to their performance in the research subject.
The result of the study is limited to the Grade 12 students of Southville 1 Integrated
National High School in the City Schools Division of Cabuyao for the School Year 2018-2019.
