Center Finder PDF

This document provides instructions for making a simple tool to find the center of a circle using materials like paper, plywood, and thin wooden strips. Glue the printed page onto plywood and then glue two 5.5" long by 1/2" wide wooden strips in the corner as shown. Place a circle in the corner and draw lines by turning the circle; the intersection of the lines will mark the center. Make a copy of the page and cut out the lighter shaded triangle as a template to create a triangular straightedge that can be placed over the lines to point directly to the center.
