NMAT Analysis - Mock 2 (Full Length Mock)

The document provides an analysis of the author's performance on two full-length NMAT practice tests. For the first mock exam, the author notes areas for improvement in the verbal, logical reasoning, and quantitative sections and identifies specific question types they struggled with. For the second mock, the analysis again outlines sections needing more correct answers and calls out specific question errors made or topics to review. The author aims to improve their scores by focusing on weaknesses identified.

NMAT Analysis - mock 2(full length mock)

Verbal – if words are tough, then better mark something quickly and make room for RCs. Need 5
more correct

LR – strengthening/weakening understand properly and mark the ans; need 9 more correct

 Inference, conclusion
 decision making very easy to score
 Large sets like arrangements etc if invested time, all would be correct
 Blood relations, take a moment and hit the ques perfectly
 Coding at least one could be cracked
 Statement, assumption

Quant and DI – need to know some very basic formulae of mensuration and stuff. Need 4 more
correct. Lot of scope for cracking and clearing cut off easily

 Some basic questions on numbers

 DI though time taking and calc intensive, maybe worth hitting all the ques
 Didn’t understand/read the ques properly for few
 Basic PnC and prob
 Basic ratios, coordinate geometry formulae, very basic TSD
 Data sufficiency, logic is correct but marking is wrong. Get a hang of them
 Revise AP, GP formulae

LR sectional test-1 analysis

 Score 57 marks/19 correct. Need min 6 more correct

 Didn’t read one question properly for big set
 Missed answering/marking one question in this big set. Two overall in the test
 Missed going by the logic for a number series ques
 Blood relation logic is correct but didn’t check the option choices too perfectly. Ans was CBD
 Alphabet coding is comparatively easier than numbers. Lost two easy ques
 Statement assumption one ques was easy. Couldn’t answer because of bad time
management and strategy
 Read the ques descr for verbal logic to identify whether st-assump or st-arg

NMAT Analysis - mock 3(full length mock)

Verbal – scored 57. Need one more correct. vocab was super tough.

 At least one RC could be perfectly attempted if made enough time

 Didn’t read the options properly for one RC. Was very easy ques
 Didn’t read one basic grammar ques properly
 Parallel structure in one ques
 Lost one para jumble, which could have been correct if carefully concentrated but cannot
always score everything due to time constraint
LR – only 16 correct, need min 9 more

 Might need bit of practice on st-assumptions

 Grouping and distribution, out of 3 sets, at least one will be very easy. Pick the right set
and nail it. Don’t look here and there and waste time, just concentrate and shoot all
 Syllogism questions are very easy, try to take a moment and score them
