specification and quality requirements.
 Check Test the material if required and compare with ASME
 Preparation of WPS and PQR as per ASME Section IX
 Stage Inspection is followed as per quality assurance plan.
 Welding Inspection, visual inspection of Joint fit-ups. In process and completed

Welding inspection on various materials. Monitoring of welding parameters during
procedure Qualification Testing. Witness Welder Qualification tests.
 Welding Inspection duties including setup in process inspection.

 Welder’s Performance, Production Testing and welding supervision.
 Inspection Planning and Execution.
 Raising the NCR for the concern department who is going against the QAP,
Approved work Procedure, Quality and system.

 Co-ordinate with QC department for inspections.

 Finalizing all Welding Inspection, documentation, Quality control and

witnessing of Punch site.
 Organizing and conducting the weekly meeting with a Team of Foreman and
Charge Hand .
 Ensuring the safe and economic access is provided for the craft worker.

Rules and Regulations.
