Q.1. Nine friends O, P, Q, R, S, T, W, X and Z are sitting around a circular table facing outside the
centre but not necessarily in the same order. Each one of them belongs to a different cities viz.
Patna, Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi, Mumbai, Chennai, Chandigarh, New Delhi and Jaipur.W is not
an immediate neighbour of the O who belongs to Patna. Only two people sit between O and Z.
The person who belongs to New Delhi sits third to right of R who is from Mumbai. Neither P nor
Z belongs to Jaipur or a Lucknow. The person who belongs to Mumbai is not an immediate
neighbour of the person who belongs to Chennai. T sits third to the right of the person who
belongs to Jaipur. Those two persons who belong to the Mumbai and the Lucknow cities are

who belongs to Varanasi, is not an immediate neighbour of Z. Person of Patna is an immediate
neighbour of those two persons who belong to Chandigarh and New Delhi cities. X sits to the
immediate right of the person who belongs to Varanasi. W and P are not neighbours.
