operation using the PEMDAS rule.

or without exponents/parenthesis or grouping of symbols.
4. Writing equations to solve multi-step word problems.
5. Determining the properties of addition and multiplication; and
6. Comprehension of the basic concepts on decimals such as rounding off,
place value, value and reading and writing decimals.

General Instructions: This examination is more of an application of the skills


learned for the first grading period. Hence, you are tasked to use a separate
sheet of paper for your answer sheet. Show the solution to every problem on
how you arrived at a certain answer.
