Benson: Good evening Tito Joji and and of course sa lahat ng nandito sa
SB Plaza! Maraming salamat sa Music Ministry ….Adlib….

Joji: Hi, Benson! (facing the audience) Hello, madlang Novaliches!

B: Wow, punong puno ng energy ang SB Plaza! Check nga natin kung
nandito ang mga iba’t ibang pamayan.. where is Pamayanan 1? 2? (etc.)

J: Alam mo Benson, this year’s search is more exciting because this is

the first time that the Pageant Committee welcomed candidates not only
from Pamayanans but also from schools, companies and associations in
the area who are all willing to support its worthy and noble cause. The
funds that would be gathered would be used for the expansion and
renovation of our church, which as we all know, is about to garner
another milestone in the history of Novaliches. We are just waiting for the
decision for our church to be elevated to National Shrine status.

B: This year, dalawang schools po ang nagpadala ng kanilang kandidata

para sa ating search, ang Sto. Nino de Novaliches School at ang
Integrated Innovation and Hospitality College. Nasaan po ang mga taga
Sto. Nino de Novaliches School? How about yung mga taga Integrated
Innovation and Hospitality School? Welcome po sa mga school officers
na todo support sa kanilang kandidata at sa objective ng search na ito!

J: There are three (3) titles at stake this year. These are Bb. Diocesan
Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Mercy (DSPOLM) 2017, Tala ng
Dambana 2017 and Sinag ng Parokya. The titleholders will be busy
during their reign as they will serve as Ambassadresses of our Shrine as
we continue to promote the love and devotion for Our Lady of Mercy. To
prepare them for this important task, the candidates were given Spiritual
and Values Formation and attended Personality Enhancement classes.

B: Speaking of todo support, let’s all welcome our very own parish priest
who is always todo support sa lahat ng activities natin sa simbahan. To
give his opening remarks, please welcome Fr. Tony Labiao, Jr.

B: Now that we have met our lovely candidates, it’s time to meet our
Board of Judges. Let’s start off with our first judge, __________________

Our criteria for judging are the following:

Ticket Sales – 40%

Talent – 20%
Question and Answer – 20%
Beauty and Personality – 20%

For a total of …100%. To compute this, we will be assisted by our very

own auditors headed by Kuya Dar ….Adlib….

B: Aside from the three titles at stake, special awards will be given as
well: Ms. Friendship, Ms. Talent, Ms. Personality and Best in Long Gown.

At this point, we would like to acknowledge the presence of some special

Competition. This is the chance for our lovely candidates to show off

J: Salamat po, Kap! Alam nyo, we are very lucky, because this year, we have

and Batang Bayan na tumulong sa production, sila Tito Ed and Ate Dianne para
sa Decors…at sa mga BEC and pamayanan heads…mga magulang ng mga
contestants…thank you…at sa lahat ng tumulong, alam nyo kung sino kayo. Sila
Grace and Rod… and of course, salamat din sa ating Board of Judges na
talagang nahirapan ngayong gabi dahil sa gagaling at gaganda ng ating mga
candidates. And before we forget, you are all invited to our on-going Novena
Masses and of course, our Grand Parade/Festival of Lights at 6 pm tomorrow
and our Fiesta Mass on Sunday, Sept 24 at 5 pm.

This is the time for the ladies to show off their grace and elegance as they project
their beautiful white, evening gowns. For this year, white po ang color theme ng
mga gowns…white as in clean and pure dahil sila po ang tanglaw ng kanilang

Ngayon naman, pupunta na tayo sa portion kung saan magpapamalas ang ating
mga contestants ng kanilang katalinuhan sa pagsagot ng mga tanong. Pipili ng
isang tanong ang bawa’t contestant sa ating champagne glass. Ang tanong ay
nakasaad sa Tagalog at English. Babasahin ni Tita Vida ang tanong ng dalawang
beses. Maaaring sagutin ng kandidata ang katanungan either in English or
Tagalog, kung saan sya mas kumportable…. Tita Vida, kindly help me here on

B: Thank you very much, Arien. Relax ka muna sa throne mo…And now, let’s
hear it from our PPC Chair, Mrs. Fatima Medalla Estacio to give her closing
remarks.

J: Thank you very much, Tita Emma for your usual support. Kung support ang
pag-uusapan dapat nating bigyan na masigabong palakpakan ang mga
magulang at guardians ng ating mga kandidata na hindi nagdamot ng kanilang
pagtulong sa ating search. Aba, hindi biro ang preparasyon nila para dito. Oras
palang sa practice talang madugo na. ..so…Let’s call on stage Fr. Tony Labiao,
