2) The three conductors of a 3-phase line are arranged at the corners of a triangle
of sides 2 m, 2.5 m and 4.5 m. Calculate the inductance per km of the line when the
conductors are regularly transposed. The diameter of each conductor is 1.24 cm.
4) Calculate G.M.D and G.M.R, then, determine the inductance in henries per
meter
and the capacitance in farads per meter for bundled single phase transmission line
shown in Figure (a).Conductors 1,2 and 3 are in parallel form one path while the
conductors 1',2' and 3' are in parallel form the return path. The diameter of each
conductor is 2 cm.

5) Fig. (b) shows the spacings of a double circuit 3-phase overhead line. The
phase sequence is ABC and the line is completely transposed. The conductor radius in
1.3 cm. Find the inductance per phase per kilometre.

8) Calculate G.M.D and G.M.R, then, determine the inductance per phase in
henries per meter and the capacitance to neutral in farads per meter for the 3-phase,
bundle-conductor overhead transmission line shown in Figure (e). Assume phase
spacing D1=D2=12.19 m, bundle separation S=45.72 cm, and conductor diameter is
2.959 cm.
