I am writing to apply for the position of Management Associate under your Management
Associate Program that you advertised in the July 2019 Job Information List. I have worked for
your company for six years from 2009 to 2016. I am currently in my fourth year in law school at
the University of San Carlos, School of Law and Governance. I am expecting to graduate in May
2020. I am confident that my employment experience with your company and my educational
attainment make me an ideal candidate for the position since I understand that aside from
relevant work experience, candidates for the position must also have a minimum two years of
postgraduate studies.

During my employment with your company, I have worked as an Assistant Manager for the
Training Department. As an Assistant Manager, I conduct both Business Training and Final
Interviews for Hiring and Recruitment under the Human Resources Department. I understand
that the Management Associate Program is Citibank’s flagship development program designed
for high potential individuals with identified leadership and management capabilities. Such
position will allow the successful applicants to accelerate their professional development by fully
leveraging these opportunities throughout their 20-month rotation.

Not only does my employment experience suit the needs of your company, but my educational
attainment also fit perfectly with your description of the ideal candidate. As a law student, my
exposure and knowledge in the field of Law would certainly be helpful in various management
matters particularly in the Legal Department and Human Resources Department.
