    Ikarus S – New Trailed Sprayer from Kverneland Rau

    Ikarus S38 with HSS 27m boom

    Ikarus S – the new trailed sprayer from Kverneland Rau. The Ikarus S is
    based on the Ikarus A sprayer range. On this new model a new three-part side-
    folding boom is introduced. This boom extends the HSS Steel Liner boom family
    from 18-24 up to 27 and 28m.

    The Ikarus S range is developed with focus on maximum operator comfort, safety and
    functionality. An up to date control centre with Easy Set valve panel is fully integrated
    and optimal protected behind a door. The spraying, agitation and cleaning volume is
    generated by the 200, 250 or 400 l/min high capacity pumps.

    HSS 27-28m 3-part folded steel liner boom


    The new three-part folded HSS boom combines 27/28m working width with short and
    compact folding alongside the tank, resulting in only 2,50m transport width. The special
    designed HSS profiles give maximum strength to the boom and full protection of
    nozzles, hoses and spray lines.

    Main product features:


    1) Ikarus S is an extremely compact trailed sprayer with big tank capacity and
    drawbar steering option, Autotrac, for a short turning radius with accurate track
    following. This is high capacity spraying, also in combination with the use of
    lighter tractors.

    2) A complete range of control systems from the easiest FlowMate Control (FMC)
    spraying computer, to the Kverneland Group Focus II terminal up to the fully
    ISOBUS compatible IsoMatch Tellus virtual terminal. All electronics are in-house
    developments and are produced by Kverneland Group Mechatronics.
    3) The Kverneland Rau ENFO (ENvironmental FOcus) rinsing and priming is
    standard on Ikarus S sprayers. The ENFO system allows automatic rinsing and
    priming of the spray lines. This results in minimizing residual liquid as well as
    clean water and disposal pollution risks.
    4) Two steel boom families, HC multiple vertical folded and HSS two-part side
    folded, offers an extensive choice ranging from 18 to 24m. The new three-part
    folded HSS boom expands the range to 27/28m working width with all the
    advantages of HSS family without exceding 2,50m transport width.
    5) Optional equipment available which makes your life easy: Starguide II GPS
    control, electrical level indicator, Automatic Suction Valve (ASV) for automatic
    stopping the filling process etc.
