Content Standard: The learner’s demonstrate an understanding of ICT in the context of global
communication for specific professional track
Performance Standard: The learners shall be able to at the end of the 2-week period independently
compose as insightful reflection paper on the nature of ICT in the context of their lives, society and
professional tracks.

I. Objective

At the end of the session, students are expected to compare and contrast the nuances of
varied online platforms, sites, and content to best achieve specific class objectives or address
situational challenges

b. Define some ICT tools

I. Subject Matter
Topic: Information and Communication Technology
Lesson: ICT Tools
Reference: Empowerment Technology for Senior High School
Materials: Chalkboard, Chalk, Netbook, Smart TV

II. Procedure
A. Review
The teacher will let the students spell out the acronym ICT
B. Motivation
The teacher will ask the students share their ideas on how ICT helps us
C. Activity
The teacher will let the students define what is ICT and let them give and define the ICT
tools that help us do our task efficiently.
D. Analysis
The teacher will then give the definition of ICT and let the students look for the similarity to
what they have given previously. Also, she will give and define the correct ICT tools that
help us do our task efficiently.
E. Application
The teacher will let the students give the advantages of having the ICT on today’s
generation
III. Assessment
The teacher will let the students prepare a sheet of paper.
Define what ICT is and enumerate and define briefly the ICT tools.
