GTP Lesson Plan For Arithmetic Progression

1) The document outlines a lesson plan on arithmetic sequences with 6 activities. 2) The learning targets are to determine if a sequence is arithmetic, find the formula, find the nth term, find the sum of a finite sequence, and use sequences to solve applications. 3) The success criteria is that 80% of students will be able to solve arithmetic sequence problems as measured by an activity sheet.

Subject: ITE 048 – Discrete Structures Submitted by: Mosheh Cyril Capaque (CIT)

Topic: Arithmetic Sequence Submitted to: Coach Roberto A. Beronio (CAS)

Learning Targets:
1. To determine whether a sequence is arithmetic
2. To find a formula for an arithmetic sequence
3. To find the nth term of an arithmetic sequence
4. To find the sum of a finite arithmetic sequence
5. To use an arithmetic sequence to solve an application problem.

Success Criteria:
At least 80% of the students will be able to solve arithmetic sequence problems.
The use of activity sheet will determine if the activity is successful or not.
