Step Procedure
1 From your computer desktop, double click on the internet browser of your choice
2 Click in the address bar
3 Type in Kahoot.com
4 Click “Log in”
5 Click “Log in with Microsoft”
6 Click “Use another account”
7 Type in your work email
8 Type in your work password
9 Click “Sign in”
10 Click “Create a quiz”
11 Place cursor over the box titled “Quiz”
12 Click “Create new”
13 Place cursor over the box titled “Title”
14 Click in the box titled “title”
15 Type in “Practice Quiz”
16 Press the “Tab” button on your keyboard
17 Type “Practice”
18 Click the green “OK, go” button
19 Place your cursor over the box titled “Add question”
20 Click the box titled “Add question”
21 Click the box titled “Question”
22 Type “What is the capitol of Georgia?”
23 Click on box titled “Answer 1”
24 Type in “Chicago”
25 Click on box titled “Answer 2”
26 Type in “Raleigh”
27 Click on box titled “Answer 3”
28 Type in “Atlanta”
29 Click on box titled “Answer 4”
30 Type in “Washington D.C.”
31 Place curser of the circle next to the box that says “Answer 3”

33 Place curser of the green box titled “Next”
34 Click the green box titled “Next”
35 Place your cursor over the box titled “Add question”
36 Click the box titled “Add question”
37 Click the box titled “Question”
38 Type “What is the capitol of North Carolina?”
39 Click on box titled “Answer 1”
40 Type in “Chicago”
41 Click on box titled “Answer 2”
42 Type in “Raleigh”
43 Click on box titled “Answer 3”
44 Type in “Atlanta”
45 Click on box titled “Answer 4”
46 Type in “Washington D.C.”
47 Place curser of the circle next to the box that says “Answer 2”
48 Click the circle
49 Place curser of the green box titled “Next”
50 Click the green box titled “Next”
51 Place the cursor of the green box titled “Save”
52 Click the green box titled “Save”
53 Click the green button titled “Play it”
54 Click the green button titled “Classic”
55 Follow instructions on the screen to join
56 Once joined, click “Start”
57 Once time runs out, or everyone answers, click “Next”
58 Again, click “Next”
59 Once time runs out, or everyone answers, click “Next”
60 Click “Get Results”
61 Click “Save Results”
62 Click “Direct Download”
Script
3 Once there,
click on the
“log in”
button
located at the
top right of
the website.
4 Next, I will
login using
my Microsoft
login, if you
would rather
create an
account, or
use your
Gmail login,
you may do
so.
5 Once logged
in, click on
the “Create”
button in the
top right-
hand corner.
6 When
creating a
standard
multiple-
choice quiz,
you can click
“Quiz.”
11 Again, type
in your
question and
answer
choices.
Click the
circle next to
the correct
answer
choice. Then
click the
“next” button
in the top
right hand
corner.
12 You can
continue
adding as
many
questions as
needed. Once
you finish,
click the
“Save”
button.
13 On the next
screen, you
have several
options. For
this
ScreenCast,
we will click
“Play It.”
14 If your class
is using 1:1
technology,
then you will
click
“Classic.” If
you are using
groups with
one device
per group,
then you will
click “Team
mode.” Here,
I will select
“Classic.”
15 This screen
will then
appear. To
have your
students join,
they will
need to
download the
Kahoot app,
or go to
kahoot.it
from their
internet
browser.
Once there,
they will
enter the
game pin,
then enter
their name.
16 As your
students join,
you will
begin to see
their names.
Once all
students have
joined, select
the “Start”
button.
17 After the
students have
answered the
question,
Kahoot will
provide
immediate
feedback. A
bar graph
appears and
shows how
many
students
selected each
answer
choice. Here,
you can
remediate
those who
missed the
question.
Once finished
with the
screen, you
can click the
“Next”
button.
18 The
scoreboard
now appears.
Once
finished,
click the
“Next”
button.
19 The next
question will
then appear.
Once all
students have
answered the
question, the
feedback will
appear. When
finished with
the feedback,
you can then
click the
“Next”
button.
20 After the
final
question, the
results will
appear. To
save the
results, click
on “Get
Results.”
21 Then click
“Save
Results.”
22 Then click
“Direct
Download.”
23 The data
from the
Kahoot will
now be saved
within an
Excel file on
your
computer.
Click the file
to open.
