V. Installation Gist
1.Sensor settings
Installation requirements: Sensor of the BSD system should be pasted to both side inner corner of
rear bumper shell with angle of 25 to 30 degrees and the height range is 35-90cm.(Fig.1-Fig.2)

The plane angle between


the rear bumper and the
sensor is 30 degree.

Step1: Measure method: Get close to the rear bumper shell with the angle gauge, and one end
should be paralleled with the rear bumper, the other end is positioned at an angle of 30
degree.(Fig.3-Fig.4)

Step2: Mark down the position in the bumper with a marker and Mark down the position with
same method for the other side of bumper.(Fig.5-Fig.6)
Step3: Take off the rear plastic bumper, and clean the installation of position with cloth.(FIg.7)

Step4: Place a 3M adherent tape on the sensor, and place the other 3M adherent tape pasting in
the determined postion; and then stick the sensor to the positon.

Step5: Similarly, the L_ sensor is also installed using the same method. (Fig.8- Fig.9)

2. Installation of the left/right signal light Harness

Step6. Take off the tail light, turn on the LH turn signal switch, then LH turn indicator is on, find
out the 12V power cable with multi-meter, connect the R_LAMP in harness cable with the 12V
power cable, and connect the L_LAMP in harness cable with the left side power cable.

3.LED indicator installation position:

4. Installation of buzzer:
Step8. Buzzer is pasted in the plastic internal of the vehicle (to ensure that there is sound output)

Step9. Run the wires based on the installation diagram.

VI. Alarm conditions:


1. When the system is on, the system would start detecting objects in the blind area behind the
vehicle 15 meters.(Fig.15)
2. )When the moving objects is getting closer and the speed is faster than our own cars.

VII. How to alarm?
A: Blind detection on right side:
1.R-LED indicator will turn on with dim/low lux effect when there is object approaching on the
right blind area.
2. If the right turn/signal switch is turned on at this time, the R-LED indicator will be flashing with
bright/high lux effect and the buzzer will be on with BiBi sound.

B: Blind detection on left side:


1.L-LED indicator will turn on with dim/low lux effect when there is object approaching on the
right blind area.
2. If the right turn/signal switch is turned on at this time, the L-LED indicator will be flashing with
bright/high lux effect and the buzzer will be on with BiBi sound.

C: The LED and buzzer without any warning if there is no object approaching on blind area.

VIII. Malfunction Solution:
