Duties and responsibilities of a senior lecturer

1. Teach assigned courses to students using student-centered approach


2. Design course materials (handouts, homework, test items/materials)
3. Evaluate students’ academic performance (progress tests and end of
semester examination)
4. Maintain students’ attendance records, examination results, and course
files for every semester.
5. Revise curricula, course content, and methods of instruction.
6. Provide remedial instructions and counselling to students with academic
challenges
7. Carry out tasks assigned by head of center.
8. Present a report for every semester’s activities as a level coordinator.
9. Serve on academic committee that dealt with examination materials.
