SCENE 1:

(SFX: KAHIT MAPUTI NA ANG BUHOK KO PIANO VER)

GEORGE: This is it! Our first buy!
PRIMO: Pick whatever you want! I’ll buy it for you!
GEORGE: Something has already caught my eye! How about this couch?
PRIMO: No, too feminine. How about this one?
GEORGE: No! It gives me Tita Lola vibes! How about this one?
PRIMO: It looks like it’s from a talk show! There! How about that?
GEORGE: Perfect! That’s the one!
PRIMO: We’ll decorate the whole house! Even a flat screen TV, 60 inches! Surround
sound!
GEORGE: Once! We have the money
TITA LOLA: Promise me that you’ll take care of my house
PRIMO: I’ll take care of you, of George, and this house
(SFX SAD MUSIC)
PRIMO: What is even happening to musicians nowadays?
GEORGE: Our Company needs an agent, you might want to sideline
PRIMO: I’d rather die than do something I don’t have the passion for!
GEORGE: Passion? That passion of yours can’t feed us Primo!
PRIMO: Why? Are you tired? You want to give up?
GEORGE: Yes! I’m very very VERY tired!

*title shows*

END OF SCENE 1

SCENE 2:

Primo: George whatever it takes I promise to be with you.

George: I will graduate as a doctor and you will become a successful singer. Your
songs will be heard and become worldwide known.

Primo: Then we will have our own house, our own car.

George: And I will always be there for every step of the way. I will support your
band. I will always be there to watch your every performance until you become
famous.

Primo: and I promise to love you forever.

(Act sweet with each other, PRIMO sings grow old with you)

Scene 2:

(George will watch primo's band performance and then act sweet)

ELLY (Khyle): Hey bro. that's George right?

ZAC (Bombita): Hi George!

LOUISE: Hi George. It's nice meeting you!

YSABELLE: Hi George! Nice taste Primo!

GEORGE: *smile shyly*

PRIMO: Well! *laughs* let’s continue this chitchat with a drink

Narration: Primo and George’s relationship has been smooth sailing, a fairytale
like if you can say. Everything has been perfect until Primo’s band started to
experience its downfall. Less gigs, decrease in popularity, and frustration to
earn money drove Primo into sadness and depression. George tried to aid Primo in
all the ways she can do, she sacrificed her dreams and her career to build up
Primo again, but in the process of healing Primo, she lost herself.

SCENE 3:

*George is hanging out with her friends when her phone rang*

George: Hello Louise?

Louise: Hey George, have you seen Primo? He’s not attending our band practice
lately so we’re wondering if you know where he is.

George: Is that so? I am not sure of his whereabouts either but when I do, I’ll
contact you guys immediately

Louise: Yeah thanks, sorry to bother you Georgy!

George: No problem. I’ll just keep you guys updated

*hangs up the phone*

George: You have to help me look for Primo.

Lisa: What’s the matter?

George: He’s nowhere to be found and I have no idea where he could be

Cassandra: You’re living together in one house yet you have no idea where he is,
you know George stop babysitting him, you’re neglecting your future and your
career because of Primo.

George: We’re just waiting for the time that he’ll have his big break.

Cassandra: When? When you’re already dead and full of debt? Think of it George,
you've missed your NMAT because you fixed the matter of the club he destroyed. To
think that it’s your birthday, yet you can’t focus on celebrating with us because
of your boyfriend’s existential crisis, try to be selfish just this once

Sammy: Girl come on, we know how much George loves Primo so maybe,yes she’ll go
to that extend but please George, think of yourself this time too, okay?

George: *stands up* I need time to think, maybe I’ll just get going early, and
maybe Primo and I can talk about it

Narration: When she gets home she noticed there is still no sign of Primo’s
presence. Sadness overcomes her body because of the thought that the person that
is the most important to him is not with her on a special day. She lit herself a
candle with a few slices of different cakes when she heard Primo unlocked the
front door.

Primo: Happy Birthday, Jo *hands George the box*

George: *ignores Primo and went to the kitchen*

Primo: Wow George, what a cute celebration we have today, you even have my gift

(SFX: SAD MUSIC)

Primo: Jo *ignored* what’s the matter, are you mad?

Primo: George. What’s the matter? What’s the problem? Tell me!

Primo: If you’re mad at me, say it! Answer me, Jo! I’m starting to look like a
fool here! If you’re mad, tell me! You can hit me! What do u want, are you tired?
Do u want to end us? Do u want to give up on us?
George: YES! I am very very VERY tired. I am tired of cleaning up your messes,
I’m tired of studying, working for you, I’m tired of wondering how you can watch
me work hard just to pay your bills while you, continuously pursuing your
passion! That passion won’t be able to feed us!

George: You don’t have the money to even buy me a cupcake that's only what? 6 or
10 pesos? But there’s always money for your what? for your passion, you always
have! You only prioritize yourself! Your dream! Your desires! You! Always about
you!

Primo: Is that really how you feel George?

George: *nods* I’m tired. I’m tired of telling my mom i'm okay, I’m tired of
waiting for you to fulfill your promises. I’m tired of us chasing your dream that
can doubly be fulfilled

Primo: Why George? I thought you believe in me?

George: I believed in you, and that was my biggest mistake. Im tired of looking
foolish, of being left behind; I’m tired of wasting my life in this relationship.

Primo: Will your life be better without me?

George: *nods*

Primo: Do you want me to go George?

George: *nods while sobbing*

*primo left and ran outside (raining) *

George: Primo! Primo! Primo! Primo! *cries*

(END OF SCENE 3)

SCENE 4:

Cassandra: Helloooo, earth to Georgeeee?

Ysabelle: As usual, having reverie about Primo again, you know if he really loves
you he wouldn't leave you like that and ghost you for almost 2 years, you
should've be the one that left him in the first place, you have all the reasons
to.

Lisa: Maybe Primo just wants the best for George, but sis, stop thinking about
him we have loads of office work to do, you have your upcoming NMAT exam, have
you review yet?

George: Of course I did, and no, I am not thinking about Primo and the nonsense
memories we had, I don't even care about him whether he's dead or not, what's
important to me is my career, and the treatment of Yohan. I slept late last night
so I'm a little dizzy.

Sammy: If you say so, it's probably time that you moved on

George: Which I already did

Sammy: We'll see

After the night that Primo and George argued, Primo has disappeared from George's
life which she later on understood and chose to carry on her career in being a
doctor, she now works temporarily in the office with (Friend 1 name) while
waiting for her NMAT exam which is in 2 months. Friend 2 is already on his 3rd
year of med school that envies and at the same time inspires George to pursue her
dreams even more.

*George opens the door and sees Primo sitting on the couch *

George: Primo? Why are you in my house?

Primo: Correction, this is my house too, I own 50% of it remember?

George: I can't believe you have the guts to show your face to me, you left,
remember?

Primo: Correction, you made me left, that's different

George: But you still did it, why are you here anyways!

Primo: I heard that you are planning to sell the house

George: And so?

Primo: So what? It's my house too! I have the rights to decline if I want to

George: Then deal! You'll get 50% share from the payment

Primo: That's not it Jo, this house, it's sentimental, it has so many memories Jo

(flashback)

(SFX KAHIT NA MAPUTI NA ANG BUHOK KO PIANO VER)

Tita Lola: When I die, take care of my house for me okay?

George: No Tita Lola, you wouldn't die okay, stop thinking like that

Primo: No matter what happens Tita Lola, I’ll take care of you, of George, and
this house

(SFX ENDS)

George: All of those are left in the past Primo! It's all history! I'm sure Tita
Lola will understand my decision to sell her house but how brave of you to even
think of returning here.

Primo: George let me ex-

George: No Primo, you decided to leave, I waited 2 years, 2 years without any hi
or anything from you. Why did you leave just because I told you to, I didn't want
that, I just said I’m tired but I didn't mean it. You know I love you so much
that's why you're capable of hurting me that much too.

Primo: Jo, I’m sorry

George: Sorry? What can your sorry do? The least thing you can do is let me sell
this house, not just for me, but for yohan's treatment.

Primo: is that the only way you can forgive me?

George: If that is what it'll take to sell this house then yes

Primo: I understand, I’ll help you sell this house, when we already find a buyer,
I’ll leave

George: Deal

Narration: Finding a buyer turns into days, into months, a lot of failed buyers
that seeked flaws in the house, but the there is one that saw something special
in that home of theirs

Alice: Is this house affected by flood? Does it have insurance? The quality of
the materials?

George: Uhm ma’am, this house was build 30 years ago-

Ms. Buyer: No, you're not answering my questions, what does this house has to
offer

Primo: Actually ma’am, this house doesn't offer a lot, but only one thing,
history. This house has been a big part of someone's life, our life, and it would
be an honor to share the life that we had to you through buying this house. It's
sentimental, important, and memorable

Alice: Where is the check? I'll get the house, consider it sold
Primo: Really ma’am?! Thank you so much!

Narration: Like promised, when they found a buyer, Primo left and have gone to
Italy leaving George and the house behind. George took her NMAT exam and
successfully passed aiming the top spot and was able to enroll at a prestigious
med school.

2 years later:

Ms. Buyer: Hello, is this George?

George: Yes, speaking

Alice: I believe you left some of your stuff in here, a box I think?

George: A box, I don't remember owning a box but I’ll check on it ma’am, thank
you for informing

Narration: George went to the house and saw a box that is not familiar to her,
then it flashbacked that it was the gift that Primo gave to her on her birthday
when they broke up, when she open opened it, it contained a necklace with a
locket and a letter

Dear Jo,

Happiest birthday to the love of my life who became the rainbow in my darkest
times. I'm sorry if this is all I can give to you. I know lately that i've been
falling short of the man I promised I’ll be. The man that a woman like you
deserves. Up until now, I’m still astonished on how lucky i am to have a woman
like you in my life who never gets tired of my flaws and imperfections. You never
failed to amuse me in everything you do. for your family, your dreams and me. I
saw every emotion that flashed in those beautiful pair of eyes but the thing that
crushes me is the pain and weariness in your eyes because i know I’m one of the
reasons why. Jo, I know I’ll definitely sound selfish but can I ask you to stay?
to hold on regardless of messed up i am? To stay as we chase our dreams, you as a
person who mend and cares for the people, as I share the beauty of music and our
dreams together in front of the church? can you stay with me as we find the
answers to all the hows? Jo, you're the rhythm of my music. I can never live
without you.

George: Primo...

Narration: After reading the letter, she was decided to go Primo in Italy to fix
things and realized that she was also wrong and she understands her, through the
trip she was only wishing one thing, that she is not too late.

She was dining in a restaurant when she stumbled upon a familiar face

George: Primo...

Primo: Oh, George! How are you!

George: I'm good, I passed my NMAT exam!

Primo: Wow that's amazing, one step ahead from your dream huh

George: Finally, how about you? What are you doing here? I'm really glad to see
you here I want to say something to say

(Faye enters)

FAYE: Hi Love! Did I make you wait too long?

PRIMO: No Love! You actually had the right timing! George, this is my fiancée

Faye, we met when I first came to Italy, Love this is George, my friend.

George: You two look amazing together

Primo: I know, I think that this time I probably found the one, the relationship
that I think will last, I guess I should also say thank you, for the lessons, and
what you taught me, thank you George
George: Y-you silly, that's nothing. I am just happy for the both of you, don't
make her cry okay? Faye is a precious girl and a lucky girl

Primo: She's my everything, now you told me earlier that you wanted to say
something?

George: Oh, I just wanted to say that your friend in our town misses you, so
much.

Primo: Tell them don't worry because when we have our wedding, it's going to be
in the Philippines.

George: That’s good to know, I’ll make sure to inform them about the good news!
*smiles* Congrats on your engagement, I hope all the best to the both of you.
I'll get going; I have something to do, it was nice meeting you Faye! Take care
of each other.

Primo: Nice seeing you George

George: Likewise

Narration: George walks away, crying, hurt when she finally torn the letter and
realized that some people are not meant to be, and not all the people you meet
are going to be part of your happy ending love story.
