Instruction: Using the form below, indicate your specific assigned tasks in the
department, your observed strengths and weaknesses, problems encountered and
learning experiences.

In this department, I am  Help the waiters and food attendants in setting up the
assigned to do the table
following tasks:  We set up the buffet tables for the wedding
 I helped the waiter to deliver the customer’s order
 I wash the water goblets and high ball
 We assist the guests’ during their alumni home coming

Observed strengths of the  The waiters and food attendants are very accommodating
department: to the guests
 They move quickly
 They are very attentive in complying to the guests’ needs

Observed weaknesses of  There are some restaurant standards that they were not
the department: able to follow
 Some of the restaurant equipments have broken parts yet
they are still used in serving
Problems Encountered (if,  The F&B department, particularly the dining area where I
any) belong has 11 OJT, and they are all from Isabela State
University. I found it hard to communicate and ask for
their assistance because they are from different place.
There are also times wherein I cannot do my thing in
serving the guests because they are noticing and
instructing me what to do.

Learning Experiences  To be assigned in the dining area of a hotel is really a


difficult and challenging task to do. You might encounter
sensitive guests. But whatever attitude they have, you
must remain calm, relaxed and attentive in giving them
their needs and a comfortable dining.
