(MRA) GRANT
The MRA Grant supports Singapore SMEs
taking their business overseas for the first
time. We support pre-determined activities
to help you set up overseas, identify
business partners, and promote
your products overseas.
FUNDING SUPPORT
• 70% of the eligible costs for MRA
Grant activities, capped at S$20,000 per
company per fiscal year.
• Maximum of two applications per
fiscal year, starting 1 April and ending
31 March the following year.
(Any application submitted after 10 March
will be regarded as application for the
new financial year).
• Limited to one activity (eg business
matching, market entry, or participation
in a trade fair) per application.
Market entry Advisory, legal and documentation expenses Proof of completion includes but

• Name search • Relevant filing documents
• Intellectual Property (IP) search and application submitted to authorities
• Filing and registration for sales/ representative • Copies of certificates, permits

distributorship and joint venture agreements

How we supported Company C: Grant support for the company to file and register its IP in Myanmar.
The grant also supported Company C’s legal and documentation expenses including those incurred in
filing documents with authorities and in obtaining business licenses and permits.
How the project helped Company C: The company successfully incorporated a fully operational legal
entity in Myanmar, and was able to protect its IP for the proprietary solutions it offered to clients.
