What is the SAP Learning Hub?
The SAP® Learning Hub is a cloud-based solution that provides anytime, anywhere learning
opportunities on SAP® solutions. Whether you are new to the SAP Learning Hub or have used
it before, you’ll find the following FAQ helpful while accessing or planning your training.
Training Material
Handbooks
A handbook is the format in which instructor led learning content is presented. On the SAP
Learning Hub, users have access to handbooks for more than 3,000 training courses, ranging
from introductory to advanced courses. To display content, a handbook uses flipbook
functionality, allowing you to scroll through course content, add bookmarks, and add notes to
assist with understanding. Flipbooks have a useful search feature that allows you to find topics
of interest easily and quickly. For anytime, anywhere access, you can view a handbook on a
tablet or iPad. However, you cannot print a handbook.
E-Learning Courses
E-learning courses include highly effective instructional elements and simulations based on
authentic situations. Because the courses are designed using real-world business scenarios,
users can work more productively with the SAP solutions related to their own business
functions.
Note: E-Learning courses are the only type of training material on the SAP Learning Hub that
qualifies for CPE/CE Credit.
Curriculum
A curriculum is a group of courses that prepare you for and lead to a certification exam. The
curriculum you choose can contain Handbooks, E-Learning courses, and Learning Rooms.
When you add a curriculum to your learning content area, you don’t need to search for all the
individual courses that make up a certification. And once you have studied all the courses in
your chosen curriculum, you will be ready for the related certification exam.
Learning Map
A learning map is a collection of user training materials for a specific business role. Structured
like a table of contents, the learning map guides you through a preselected set of content from
an e-learning training course. It provides brief information about the learning units as well as
links to the training material. A map leverages the training content for a specific template or
implementation project based on specific role assignments.
When new solutions and functions are implemented, users must be trained in the new
functions they will use. A learning map is generated for specific tasks of a role (for example,
new functionality a purchasing agent will use) from an existing project structure.
Learning Room
Program
Programs are a new course category in SAP Learning Hub, providing a learning content bundle
that participants can use to track their completion progress.
These programs are now a preferred method for bundling more than one course into a logical
learning path. They were created to cater to online courses. Students can use them to track
completion progress throughout their course of study. SAP plans to use them extensively in
order to build learning maps and enrich the customer experience.
SAP Live Access
Note: SAP Live Access is an additional cost to you. You must contact your competency leader
to obtain approval before ordering the service. You should also confirm the appropriate way to
submit your expense for reimbursement.
Is the training material similar to those used in SAP Instructor led classes?
The handbooks found on the SAP Learning Hub are identical to what you'd get in traditional
public or private SAP instructor led class. Also, the E-Learnings and OKPs are identical to what
you'd purchase on the SAP website.
How long will I have to complete a course? Are there due dates?
There is no designated time for completion for the Learning Hub courses. They may be
completed at your own pace. You may even take a course more than once should you choose
to do so. However, the Learning Hub licenses expire on an annual basis, so learning should be
completed within that timeframe to avoid losing any progress you have made on an
incomplete course or courses.
No, the material on the SAP Learning Hub cannot be downloaded or printed. It can only be
accessed using a web browser.

the request with the Learning Leader or designated learning contact for the area.
Learning Hub licenses are a subscription with an annual renewal. Each end user will have a
user license that lasts 1 year. At the end of the year, you will need to confer with your counselor
and/or People Consultant to request a renewal for a second year.
In addition, utilization of the Learning Hub will be actively monitored. If an end user does not
access the Learning Hub for more than 3 months, their license will be reviewed and potentially

Training Systems
No, the SAP Learning Hub does not contain a live training system. You can purchase time on
the SAP Live Access practice system for an additional cost. You must provide a business case
and get approval from your competency leader before you purchase time on the training
system. When doing so, make sure to ask how to submit the expenses for reimbursement.
Note: You can practice on the EY Sandboxes free of charge. The data will not match the
exercises found in the training material, but you will at least be able to see the SAP screens and
test some capabilities.
This is available, but we are having technical problems with enabling the purchase for our SAP
Learning Hub users. We will update this section when the problem has been resolved.
Only SAP E-Learning courses qualify for CPE/CE credit. The Handbooks, Online Knowledge
Products and Learning Rooms are informational resources only and do not qualify.
When you search for an E-Learning course, you can click on the course name to see the
detailed description and duration. To estimate the number of CPE/CE credits, convert the
duration to minutes and divide by 50. You will need to round down to the nearest whole/half
number.
Will my CPE/CE Credits be automatically loaded to my EY Leads account?
No, CPE Credits will need to be requested on an individual basis. The SAP Learning Hub E-
Learning courses will be treated as external courses and the requests to CPE credit will need to
be submitted using the EY Leads process.
For Continuing Education credits (CE’s), please follow the process for external learning in your
home office country.
When requesting CPE/CE Credit via EY Leads, you will need to provide both a Certificate of
Completion and estimated course length. You can find instructions to print the Certificate of
Completion in the following question.
Yes, however the only courses that qualify for Certificates of Completion are the SAP E-
Learning courses. At the successful conclusion of those courses, you will be able to print a
Certificate of Completion.

On the My Learning Content Screen, go to the Learning History page to view all completed
work. You can navigate to this page by clicking on the “View all” button within the Learning
History section.
Place your cursor on the course name which you would like to obtain the Completion
Certificate for. After a second or two, a pop up will be displayed with multiple options. Click
on “Print Certificate”. This will open another internet window/tab to display the certificate.
Note: It may take some time to load the certificate. Do not press the back or refresh button.
Once your certificate is displayed, choose to either “save” or “print” the document.
Can I print a transcript in the SAP Learning Hub?

SAP Certification
The below website contains all of the certification and testing location information.
https://training.sap.com/shop/certification/
Can we take the SAP Certification Exam on the SAP Learning Hub?
When you find a certification on the SAP Website, you can see the different topics covered
within the certification exam. Each topic will have associated courses/training materials (ex:
SCM605 for Sales and Distribution).
On the SAP Learning Hub site, you can search for those specific courses (ex. SCM605) and
assign them to yourself. Another option is to search for curriculums which contain multiple
courses, handbooks, etc. related to the topic.
Will the SAP Learning Hub provide enough training material to pass the SAP Certification?
Yes, it should. You will have access to the same material that is taught in SAP classes. You will
be able to study material for each topic associated to the exam you want to take. Plus, many
of the E-Learning courses have exams upon completion which will help you familiarize with the
type of questions on the certification exam.
Is there a charge code for completing these courses during working hours?
Internal learning time codes are assigned by your business unit. Please consult your time
guidelines to determine whether you should charge the time to a specific code and what code
to use.
