    LIST OF APPROVED MAKES/AGENCIES

    CIVIL WORKS
    The Owner reserves the right to select any of the brands indicated in the list of approved makes.
    The Tenderer shall quote his rates on the basis of the price of quality and grade of product of the
    brand/make stipulated in the item of works as described in BOQ & Specification as well as in the
    list of approved make. The contractor cannot claim extra if the owner changes the make but within
    the list of approved make.

    PROCUREMENT OF BARBED WIRE & CONCERTINA COIL.
    Materials like Barbed wire, Concertina Coil, Wire Mesh and pipes are to be procured only from the
    manufactures who are having valid rate contract with DGS&D, Govt. of India. The frequency of
    testing of such materials shall be as per directed by Engineer-in-Charge and relevant ISI codes. Test
    Certificate/certificates from DGS&D as per above for the procurements thus made are required to be
    submitted to NBCC (India) Ltd with each lot of procurement.
    However, testing by DGS&D and submission of test certificate DGS&D does not absolve the
    contractor of his responsibility of procuring and using such materials as per specification &
    Engineer-in-Charge have the right to get it tasted from third party.
    Further, the Make approval will be as per guidelines of DGS&D and will be approved by Engineer-in-
    charge in line with Technical Specifications.
