    GUIDELINES FOR COUNSELLING / INTERVIEW

    1. The counselling for admission/allocation of seat to the short-listed candidates is based on their performance in their VITMEE
    2. No change of date / time of counselling/interview is permissible. If a candidate fails to appear for counselling/interview on the
    date and time specified, his / her seat will be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit. No TA/DA will be provided for
    counselling/interview.
    3. Applicant should have the demand draft in person while reporting since getting DD in campus may not possible. If the applicant
    does not want/get the admission the demand draft will be returned immediately.
    4. More than the required number of applicants have been called. The fact that candidate has applied to VIT and has been called for
    counselling/interview does not guarantee admission to him / her.
    5. The candidates requested to be present 30 mins before reporting time.The required documents will be verified after which
    admission Counselling/Interview will begin.
    6. The Counselling/Interview process may extend upto late evening, students / parents are requested to plan their travel
    accordingly.
    7. One Parent may accompany their ward at the time of counselling/interview.
