JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Main gate Guard (Day):
 Open Small shutter in the morning from 9AM-11AM and keep glass door closed for
that time
 Submit cell phones/pen drives of all employees in locker room, frisk using metal
detector and then allow entry
 Use alcohol tester to make sure no staff member is drunk when they enter office
 Ensure all staff parks outside the street in designated parking area
 Make sure no customers parks the bikes or cars in the street that will cause problem to
any neighbor or resident
 Mark in time, lunch out and in, out time (attendance) of all employees on the register
with own hand
 Mark entry and exit time of third party workers at our premises like plumber,
carpenter, machine engineer etc. Submit their phones at reception
 Check each customer bill against physical goods and retain a copy of invoice to be
submitted in accounts room. Do not allow exit to customer without invoice
 Check video footage of night staff daily and report to management about any
inappropriate activity in writing and with photo evidence
 Check all properties lock, lights, fans, A/C and activity in morning, afternoon and
evening
 Guard should respectfully greet customers with a smile and open the door for
everyone. Should offer water to customers or show way to water dispenser
 Take ownership of all keys and maintain record of key given to whom for office
bikes, wh, pappugodown, accounts room, office
 Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and
ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
 Perform first aid or CPR
 Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited
articles into restricted areas.
 Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from
premises, using force when necessary.
 Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information
during non-business hour.
 Audit and record entry/exit of raw material from WH. Collect and file GRN
 Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of
unauthorized persons.
 Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property
damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
 Checking of maintenance and field staff each time they exit the building. Undertake
deep checking of maintenance staff while leaving for the day to ensure they are not
carrying any company property without permission. Guard should have copy of
permission form to be signed by GM and above to allow company property out of
office
 No smoking by customers in office area or in the street that may cause problem to
neighbors
 Collection of overtime approval forms for all employees signed by supervisor
 Help in sublimation products (honey)

Night:

Second Floor Guard (Day + Night):


1. Frisk all employees at time of entry and exit
2. Make sure all binding staff is in uniform: lab coat, cap, shoe covers
3. Do not allow exit to binding section employee other than lunch or dinner time
4. Mark in/out time and attendance of binding section
5. Do not allow entry of any unauthorized person including customers/employees in the
binding section who does not work in binding. List of authorized persons will be shared
with guard to be undated by guard as and when required with written permission from
management
6. No drunk or stoned staff allowed. Report to management. Double pay cut for such staff
7. No phones or electronics devices allowed in the section
8. Supervise housekeeping staff at 2nd and 3rd floor. They should always sit near guard when
not working so that they are easily available for work when required
9. Supervise proper cleaning by housekeeping on 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor
10. Check AC, lights, fans, machinery power on/off 5-6 times in the shift
11. No Binding staff should be sleeping at work time. They lose full day pay if found
sleeping

Term sheet for Security agency:

1. Any Guard found sleeping loses 15 day pay, no questions asked


2. Any guard on leave without informing, loses double pay
3. Any guard on leave on a working festival day, loses 3 day pay
4. Any lose due to guards misconduct or mistake to be borne by the security company
5. In case of any confusion, rules must be clarified immediately with the management,
ignorance is no excuse.
6. At least 3 replacement guards, for an absent employee, should be given full training about
the duties of guard at our organization. Replacement guard should be able to perform
exact same duties as on duty guard
7. On duty guard cannot take more than 2 leaves in a month without written approval from
management
8. In case of wrong or omitted reporting by guard, he will be replaced with immediate effect
9. Company policies on security and safety should not be compromised under any
circumstances. Any deviation should be reported to management immediately
10. Guards should always be in uniform. Lose 2 day pay if come to work without uniform.
They should be tidy and well groomed
11. Guards should be active and ethical about their duty. If found indulging in unethical
behavior, appropriate action will be taken against company and guard
