Rubric For Purposive Communication

This rubric evaluates students on four criteria for a campaign advertisement assignment: use of available class time, appropriate use of propaganda techniques, creativity, and written explanation. Students can receive scores between 1 and 4 on each criteria, with 4 being exemplary and meeting all criteria, 3 being proficient but having minor issues in one area, 2 being partially proficient with room for improvement, and 1 being incomplete with major issues in multiple areas. The rubric focuses on how effectively students utilized class time, incorporated assigned propaganda techniques along with other techniques, demonstrated original creative thought, clearly explained their techniques in writing, and collaborated as a group.
