Accomplishment Report
(Day 1)
The Lumao National High School headed by the Principal, Ms. Pilar B. Cogonon along
with the rest of the faculty and staff, officially started the Brigada Eskwela’19 on May 22, 2019
in Guila-Guila, Kuya, South Upi, Maguindanao at exactly 6:00 in the morning with a Fun Run
which was participated by both the parents and students and was followed by the program
proper.
The program started at exactly 6:30 in the morning with Ms. April Babes P. Paches as the
master of the ceremony. She greeted the parents and students who were present and
encouraged the parents outside to come and join the Brigada then Ms. Pilar B. Cogonon, the
Principal, gave her opening remarks and was followed by the statement of the purpose delivered
by Ms. Rhodora O. Eraga, the Brigada Eskwela Coordinator.
The working time started at exactly 8:30 in the morning. The teachers assigned and
facilitated the parents and students where they should start cleaning.
The teachers assigned in facilitating in the field work were Ms. Rosita G. Rufo and Sir
Reynante T. Paris. Ms. Merralyn Joy Aberle was assigned to the documentation; Sir Libert Moore
O. Betita was assigned to the attendance and accomplishment report while the rest such as
classrooms and fences were assigned to each adviser.
Majority of the attendees were students. Most of them helped cleaning the classrooms
while some of them helped in cleaning the field, building the fence etc. Some students came to
do the brigade themselves due to the unavailability of their parents or guardians and some came
to help their parents in doing the necessary works.
Before the work started everyone was informed that a certain parent or guardian must
render at least 5 hours of work for each child. If there are two or more guardians for the same
child, then the 5-hour work will be divided among them.
Aside from this, tables and chairs needed to be repaired were placed outside so they
will be attended to once the necessary tools and man power come. The Brigada ended at
exactly 5:00 in the afternoon.
In total, 10 classrooms as well as the computer rooms were cleaned and the library was
extended giving more chance to the students to study and enrich their knowledge for the
upcoming school year.

The second day of the Brigada started at exactly 8:00 in the morning. The parents and
students arrived and started tending to the places assigned to them. Majority of the attendees
are parents.
They brought with them Kawayan and Malunggay plants. The Kawayan is to be used in
making the school fence and the Malunggays are to be planted. 10 pieces of kawayan (sliced) and
a plant of Malunggay were assigned to each student.
The field was already cleaned so the parents and students cleaned the outside of the
school. The women and students focused on cleaning the landscape parts while the men focused
in building the fence in hope that they may finish the work at the end of the day.
The work on the fence was not completely finished but was almost done. At the end of
the day, the parents and students were able to clean the outside of the school. The brigade ended
at exactly 5:00 in the afternoon.

Accomplishment Report
(Day 3)
The last day of the Brigada Eskwela started at exactly 8:00 in the morning with the parents
as the majority of the attendees.
The principal, Ms. Pilar B. Cogonon, facilitated in the cutting of the big trees around the
school; the female teachers facilitated in the pruning of the plants and the male teachers
facilitated in the repairing of the school facilities.
The school was almost cleaned so only a little tending was necessary. The parents now
completed the fence given the availability of the materials and most of them now helped in
repairing the remaining tables and chairs.
The parents helped hand in hand with the students in fetching sand to fill and equalize
the classrooms which floors are not equally formed.
After the work, the parents were given their brigada cards and these were given to them
by the teachers who facilitated on the specific works.
At the end of the day, the classroom floors were attended to and most of the tables and
chairs were repaired. Now the school is ready for the coming enrollment week.
The brigada ended at exactly 5:00 in the afternoon.
