PLANNING
What did you learn from your planning This week, planning allowed me to understand how to prepare
this week? fully for filming. It meant that I could organise when and where
to be with whom, as well as with what equipment and a plan
for what I am going to film.
How did you ensure that you are I made sure to organise what time we were filming with the
prepared for filming? actors, where we were filming as well as how to get there. I also
made sure to organise my shooting script and storyboard so
that I knew exactly what to film when on location with the
actors. The night before filming I also made sure to fully charge
my camera so that I would not have to worry about it running
out of battery the next day.
How have you ensured your actors I made sure to find an actor available to film straight away and
and crew will be available? who needs someone to act in theirs. This meant that we could
film on the same days for each other’s productions without
worrying about the other person cancelling because we both
needed each other. Choosing an early date to film also meant
that we had plenty of time to film any extra things on other
days if for some reason the other person couldn’t make it. For
my other actor, I made sure that the he was free on the same
day, but also asked other people to be backup actors just in
case they couldn’t make it.
How well have you been able to For my transport I decided to use buses and taxis to travel
organise locations and transport? around. I made sure to organise what times bus I should get on
the day before shooting, allowing me to not waste time the
next day. I also booked taxis in advance so that we would not
have to worry about finding no taxis.
Are you on track for the week? If not, I am on track this week.
