BRIEF

From my research and also peer feedback, I have decided it is best to do my documentary on music
education. This is because this is a subject I feel most passionate about and there is a lot to cover as it
is an issue in the modern world and it is an original documentary idea. From my survey results, it
seems that other people also like this idea as it is a topic which doesn't get much coverage.

I am going to make the documentary in the form of an informative documentary so that viewers can
learn about music education and the importance and significance of breaking into the music industry
with or without a qualification in music. I plan to give information myself on the subject and brief
information on who I am talking to which will be music teachers, students currently in music
education so I can ask them what they think about the situation and how music education is helping
them and whether or not they think it is worth it, and also musicians who have or haven't done music
education and how they got into the industry.
