Midi

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a language used to connect musical instruments to computers and other devices. It was created in the 1980s so that synthesizers and electric instruments could communicate. MIDI allows instruments to send messages about notes, tempo, intensity, and effects to other compatible instruments. It has become a popular standard for electronic music equipment. MIDI instruments include keyboards, guitars, wind instruments, and percussion pads. MIDI cables and controllers like Logic Pro X and GarageBand help facilitate MIDI recording and editing.
