There are 6 photocopiable progress tests available for each level of the Fun Way course. Each test covers the contents and themes taught in every single unit and assesses the learners’ knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, as well as their reading, writing and listening skills. The Fun Way tests are a tool to help students measure their progress as they advance with the Student’s Book. Each test has 4 activities and a score of 40 marks. The time recommended for learners to complete and finish each test is 45 / 60 minutes.
How can tests be used?
Teachers can easily print and photocopy each two-page test, allowing them to save time and enhance the learners’ - as well as their own - experience. The tests can be used at the end of each unit to evaluate students formally or can be exploited as revision material as part of their homework. There is an Answer Key available for every test, where teachers will find - apart from the answers to the tests - the transcript for the listening activities. Teachers are required to read the full transcript twice or even three times if needed.
Tests marking scheme
Each test has four sections (or activities), in which sections 1, 2 and 3 assess vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing and section 4 has been designed to test student’s listening comprehension skills.
