    FILE.CONTROL
    Determine the name of the file. It must be meaningful, the name of your file is the same as the name of your application
    program, hence do not call it FILE001 or SC007. It should give some indication as to it's purpose e.g. CUSTOMER,
    FUNDS.TRANSFER etc. Note: The file name cannot exceed 25 characters, this allows the addition of the company
    mnemonic and the $NAU or $HIS suffix. Enter the details of the file into the application FILE.CONTROL (in GLOBUS).
    To create the file run CREATE.FILES at the awaiting application prompt in GLOBUS. It will prompt you for the company
    you wish to create the file in (use the current company for installation level files), a select list name if you have a
    number of files to create (just return if you don't have a saved select list) and then the names of the files you wish to
    create (the key to FILE.CONTROL) entering blank will terminate the prompt and create the files. The files will be
    created in the data base directory. You can run this process again if for example you decide to add the history file later.
    Once the files are created you must write the application program.

    The creation of $DEL file is maintained by the DELETE.HISTORY field.

    $DEL file for the respective template will be created.
    the value $DEL will be updated in SUFFIXES field.
